While modding a game like GTA 5 is certainly a good time, there is the chance that doing so will corrupt your game in some way - or, even worse, Rockstar might decide to ban you from using certain features of the game (if not the game itself). Here's a basic guide to uninstalling mods from Grand Theft Auto V that will prevent game corruption or bans.
Personally I just add all the files when i want to use mods and delete all of them when I want to go online but I don't have any modified files just new files so its easy to just delete the mods. I suppose if you have the extra hard drive space you could copy a clean gta v somewhere then when you want to go online move the modded one out.

Most mods for PC games are fairly simple to uninstall - simply locate the files you've added to your root game folder and delete them. This file path usually looks something like:

However, some mods will overwrite important game files in order to change the game in the desired way. It is IMPERATIVE that you BACK UP GAME FILESBEFORE INSTALLING ANY MODS.
